Large dogs take up floor space, and so do wire crates. We built this wide brown cabinet so the living room keeps a usable tabletop while your dog gets a sturdy den. The frame arrives joined together, folding flat when you need to clear the room or carry it through a doorway.
A small steel door swings outward to hold two stainless bowls without opening the main latch. You set the dishes at two heights, which keeps kibble off the floor during meal times.
The sides and top collapse down over the base without turning bolts. You can take the piece down for seasonal storage, move it between rooms, or slide it flat into a vehicle.
The solid brown top runs the length of the cabinet, giving you room for a lamp, books and remotes. It stands beside a sofa or under a wall television as an ordinary side table.
Thick steel tubes line the side walls, while extra bars support the bottom deck beneath large dogs. A small nameplate mounts on the front rail so you can mark whose room it is.
