A wire cage sits awkward beside the couch. We built this cabinet in rustic brown wood to give the room an actual side table while keeping the dog base off the floor. The walls unfold straight out of the box, with no hardware to sort out on the living room rug.
The piece arrives put together. You lift it out of the carton and fold the panels into place. There is no evening spent turning a hex key or hunting for misplaced screws on the carpet.
The side panels fold onto the base as a single unit. It packs flat enough to slide into the trunk of a car or tuck behind a bedroom door when you need the floor space back.
The built-in feeder bracket swings around so you can fill the bowls from outside the crate. You can set the dish height up or down along the frame to match how your dog eats.
The solid top holds a table lamp, books, or a plant beside your armchair. The solid back panel keeps loose fur off your drywall, while the open pattern across the sides lets light through.
