33" Heavy-Duty Kennel with Name Tag
Some dogs treat standard wire crates like chewing gum. We built this kennel with thick steel tubing beneath a finished wooden top, so it stays in the family room instead of the mudroom. It holds its ground beside an armchair without looking like utility hardware.

Thick steel frame
We weld the frame from heavy gauge square steel tubing. The upright bars do not flex when leaned against, giving strong dogs a solid boundary while keeping the profile of a standard indoor cabinet.
Two latch doors
Both the front door and side door close with dual slide bolts. Dogs that nudge bottom corners cannot swing the panel out, while the slide action remains smooth enough to work with one hand.
Reversible side door
During assembly, you can hang the side door on either the left or right side of the kennel. That lets you set the piece against a wall corner without blocking access for daily crate training.
Slide out base tray
The bottom tray slides straight out the front for routine washing and sweeping. We also added a small metal tag holder on the front gate where you can slip in your dog name.
