Some dogs test every corner of thin wire. We built this kennel with thick steel tubing and capped it with a wide gray console top so it stays in the living room. Double latches secure each entrance, and the casters lock once you roll it into place.
We welded heavy gauge steel tubes into the main body rather than using thin wire. The metal runs through both doors and every upright panel.
Each entrance has dual sliding locks that engage the frame at two points. The side door mounts on either the left or right during assembly.
Four casters sit under the bottom frame so you can pull the piece away from the baseboard to sweep. Step down on the locks to keep it stationary.
The bottom pan slides straight out from the front without opening the main doors. It wipes down with soap and water before sliding back into the base.
