Some dogs test every weld on a wire crate until the door gives. We built this brown piece with heavy steel tubing and paired it with a flat furniture top that works as a side console. It lives right in the room instead of out in the garage.
The frame uses thick steel bars rather than thin wire. Each door closes with two separate slide locks so the panels stay flush against the steel frame when latched.
You can install the side door on either end to match your room layout. The wide front door gives a large dog a clear path inside for daily crate training.
The base pan slides out from the bottom frame when you need to wipe it clean. You do not have to crawl inside the steel frame to clear out dog hair.
Four wheels roll the heavy steel frame away from the baseboard for vacuuming behind it. Step down on the wheel locks to keep the console in place on hard floors.
